This involves exporting and remapping all content, redirecting existing URLs to preserve SEO value, migrating media libraries and — critically — running the migration on a staging environment and verifying everything before pointing DNS to the new site. For most business sites we recommend managed WordPress hosting on WP Engine or Kinsta — both offer server-level caching, automated backups, staging environments, and security scanning built in. For high-traffic WooCommerce stores or enterprise builds we configure more bespoke infrastructure on AWS or Google Cloud.
